The Newest Book Critic

Dash, our Italian Greyhound-mix, has a taste for books. Especially if we are in the middle of reading them. Notice that despite the plethora of toys on the floor, he still made sure that no one would read Eragon ever again.

Along with the book destruction, our kitten loves to pee on the couch when we leave, hence the attractive blue tarp.

My sisters cats used to pee on her couch too. She used shower curtains and those clear plastic carpet runners with the spikes up to prevent the animals from jumping on the couch

Need to remove cat urine from a floor or couch..here's a neat trick I learned, and it DOES work. Mix a 50/50 mixture of water and vinegar, spray or pour on place where urine is. Soak it up, and allow it to almost dry. Then spread baking soda over it. Take a 1/4 cup of hydrogen peroxide with a drop of dish washing detergent, and pour over baking soda, scrub in, allow to dry, then vacuum it up. It completely removes the smell, and lessens the chance of them peeing there again. Also you can use moth balls to keep them off the couch, and ginger is a natural repellent for cats too…………..don't ask me how I know all this. lol
