My Ability to Sleep in My Own Bed

I travel a lot for work. In the fall, I was away for about a month, and when I came back, my husband had decided that our two mini wirehaired Dachshunds, Sammy and Lila, no longer had to sleep in their kennel. They were now sleeping on the bed … on MY side of the bed. It was a week before we worked out the arrangements and I was able to get a good night’s sleep.

Now I’m away for several months, and Lila has taken to sleeping BETWEEN MY PILLOWS. There’s going to be a big fight when Mommy gets home.

PS A king-sized bed is not large enough for two adult humans and two Dachshunds, as it turns out.

LOL! At one time, I managed – somehow – to sleep with 3 dogs, large, medium, and smallish – but no other human in a full-sized bed, so I guess that leaving out the human was the answer!  (Bitter, divorced woman?  Maybe)  I’m now down to one dog who sleeps demurely in one corner at the foot end of the bed and I don’t sleep as well – go figure.

LOL!  Me and the wife manage to get a Cocker Spaniel, Bichon Frise, Malti-poo, and a Yorkie into a King Size bed.  But if one of the 2 of us get up we do have to move a dog.
