Garbage Massacre

Came home to a garbage hurricane. By the look on his face he knew that he couldn’t blame it on anyone else. Maybe he thought I wasn’t coming home and he panicked? Regardless you can’t help but love that face.

ah this is only too familiar. I should have taken pictures of it, but I didn’t think of it at the time: earlier this week I forgot to close the baby gate to the kitchen when I left the house. our dear dog ate through the trash as usual and I cleaned it up. I forgot that one of the trash items was the 3 quart container of pan drippings I dug out of the back to the fridge. dear dog spent the next 24 (mostly overnight, of course) hours puking and pooping greasy nasty stinkiness throughout the house. The only up side was that I found the presents before the baby. :/

    Priceless!

That is HILARIOUS! Dog’s got that “oh, yeah? So what?” look on his face.

I love the look on this boys face!  So cute!

What is it about “guilty dogs”?  Our dog Elvis (coon-hound/black lab mix) gets the same look, like all “blinky” eyed and such.  HILARIOUS!

The dog is actually probably just wondering why everyone is so surprised.  Dogs have such a short term memory, and how is he supposed to know this was “wrong” behavior? It’s so far in his past he’s not going to connect it to how his people react.  He just pulled some stuff apart, likely due to boredom.

not sure why people think dogs have short memories, train a dog a trick and even if you don’t do it for months they’ll still do it on command. To me that’s better memory than my wife. Or perhaps she just doesn’t want to do the trick anymore :( LOL

When I was in college, I came home one day to find that my dog had eaten through a nice blanket that I bought in Mexico, however, she didn’t stop at the blanket, she ate through the sofa cushions.  I looked as if it had snowed all over my apartment.  I finally rehomed her with someone that was a stay-at-home mom that had plenty of children to keep this pup happy and occupied.
